Further to restructuring our management team within Calamatta Landscapes Ltd, we are very happy to announce that Herman Scifo has now taken over the role of Head of Operations whilst Mark Baldacchino, who brings ten years of experience with him, has joined our young and dynamic team.
Herman Scifo, who has been with us for the past sixteen years, has managed our garden maintenance department for several years and has also been solely responsible for some of the major landscaping projects entrusted to our company. He shall now oversee the company’s general operations and handle most of the landscaping projects. His experience in the different areas of our trade makes him an all-rounder and a definite asset to our firm.
Our landscape designer Melina Scodannibio is now well known for her designs having been employed with us in Malta for over ten years. Melina has designed most of Malta’s private gardens and has often contributed to Maltese home magazines providing useful tips and ideas for garden enthusiasts. She is also responsible for all the landscaping designs carried out by the Environmental Landscapes Consortium, of which our company is a founding member.
On the other hand Mark Baldacchino has just returned to Malta after having worked in the horticultural field in Australia for ten years. His experience and drive will no doubt be of great support to Herman and the rest of the team. We hope that you will have the opportunity to meet him personally once he comes aboard at the end of July.
Meanwhile Joe Florian, who has worked for the company for twenty two years, has taken the decision to seek new challenges. We wish to thank him for his service and augur him every happiness.
